Compensation: Range $60,000+ commensurate with experience
VMDO Architects is seeking a creative problem-solver to join our Charlottesville office as a Junior Interior Designer. This position will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Lead Interior Designer and is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Generating design and construction models using Revit and Sketch up
- Assisting in development of studies, visualizations, presentations, and reports
- Incorporating sustainable design research and solutions into projects
- Working closely with design teams and consultants to ensure coordinated and constructible designs
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in the field
- A degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Bachelors or Masters)
Familiarity with Revit or Sketch Up
Preferred candidates will have or be working toward NCIDQ certification.
