The post holder will provide visible clinical and operational leadership across the Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.

The Emergency Department Matron is responsible for providing visible clinical, professional and operational leadership across the Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, compassionate and effective care. The post holder will lead nursing and clinical support teams to achieve excellence in patient safety, patient experience, workforce performance and service delivery.
