What You’ll Do
- Supervises and coordinates personnel delivery of nursing care on assigned shift in skilled care.
- Accurately transcribes and carries out physicians' orders.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Assists in development and implementation of Resident Care Plan; updates Care Plan as needed
- Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol
- Collects samples such as urine, blood and sputum from residents for testing and performs routine laboratory tests on samples.
- Assists Residents at meal times and monitors dining room process.
- Records food and fluid intake and output.
- Assists in Resident care, including bathing, toileting, and other ADL's.
- Responds to Resident call bells in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For
Active PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
Schedule & Location
Weekend Program: Every weekend, evening/night shift
Hours: 16–24 hours per week
Location: Skilled Care or Personal Care at both WVC campuses in
Lancaster and Willow Street, PA
