Description
The Radiological Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the evaluation of disease, injury, and the detection of foreign bodies. This role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring safety, professionalism, and compassion at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Radiology department preferred * New grads accepted*
- Specific Skills: Competency in venipuncture and the administration of contrast media (as applicable).
- Computer Skills: Proficient with basic computer systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Licensure: ARRT certified and licensed by the MRTBE (Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners).
- Desire to cross train into CT
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification required
