About Women’s Imaging Specialists
We’re the Southeast’s leading women’s imaging provider with 18 locations across GA & AL, dedicated exclusively to early detection of breast cancer and osteoporosis. Our mission: Advanced 2D/3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and bone densitometry in a patient-first, team-focused environment.
What you’ll do during training:
Complete hands-on clinical training with experienced mammography tech mentors
Learn 2D/3D digital mammography, patient positioning, and MQSA protocols
Master patient education and compassionate care for screening + diagnostic exams
Prepare for your ARRT (M) certification exam with full support
Once certified, you’ll:
Perform screening & diagnostic mammograms in a supportive outpatient setting
Educate patients on breast health and the importance of early detection
Work M-F, daytime hours only - predictable schedule, no call
Join a team passionate about women’s health

: ARRT (R) certification and active state license
Required
: BLS certification

: Full commitment to completing training + 2-year role commitment post-certification
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
Knowledge of medical terminology + EMR systems preferred
Mammography certification not required to start - we’ll train you!

Type: Full-time | Apprenticeship-to-Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours | No weekends/holidays/call
Locations: In-person at one of 18 WIS centers in GA & AL
