Shop Mechanic/Technician Simpsonville, SC | Vermeer All Roads
Vermeer All Roads in Simpsonville, SC is hiring an Experienced Shop Mechanic/Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer machinery and components inside our dealership. This full-time position offers a hands-on shop environment with variety, paid training, and clear advancement opportunities, with a focus on completing safe, professional, and on-time repairs.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly pay: $30–$35 (based on experience)
- Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates
- Production bonuses available
- Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems)
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK experience a plus)
- Maintain detailed and accurate repair records and documentation
- Stay current with industry and technical advancements
- Communicate with the factory for technical support
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and hydrostatics
- Welding experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
