This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a dedicated Pharmacy Clinical Trials team at Glan Clwyd Hospital. As part of a growing research portfolio, including significant oncology and haematology activity supported by the North Wales Cancer Centre, you will play a key role in enabling patients across North Wales to access innovative and potentially life-changing treatments through clinical research.
You will lead the pharmacy clinical trials service, ensuring the safe and compliant management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) across a varied research portfolio. Responsibilities include protocol review, study set-up, oversight of trial medicines, provision of specialist pharmaceutical advice, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and Good Clinical Practice requirements. You will work closely with clinicians, research teams, sponsors, and pharmacy colleagues to support the safe delivery of clinical trials and contribute to audit, governance, service improvement, and workforce development activities.
