About the role
Overview
A family in Hilsborough is seeking a nanny/remote personal assistant. The role involves about 25 hours a week Monday through Friday of being a nanny to 2 boys ages 10-years-old and almost 8-years-old and about 5-7 hours a week of remote personal assistant work, and about 5-7 hours a week of running errands as PA. In total, the role will be 35-40 hours a week Monday through Friday 11am/12pm-7pm. The nanny role begins at 2pm daily with picking up the children from school. The PA duties began at 11am or 12pm until picking up the children. They need someone experienced, quick on their feet, who can work autonomously and not need direction/hand-holding, and who can implement structure to the children's schedules. The eldest is more independent, whereas the youngest needs someone to help oversee with making sure homework is being done and coaching/guiding him with completion of homework and tasks. A former schoolteacher is welcome! The children are scheduled so the candidate to hire must be good at earning the children's respect and implementing that structure/schedule, especially when the Mother is traveling for work. Also, creating fun activities for them. For the personal assistant tasks, the Mother is happy to do a bit of training for the candidate to hire to use AI to help with the administration/calendaring portion of the role. The role begins November 1, 2026.
