The Practice Nurse will provide high-quality, safe and effective nursing care to patients registered with the practice. The Nurse should be able to demonstrate, appropriate to their level of training, experience and competency: Safe and effective clinical assessment Venepuncture and specimen handling ECG recording Blood pressure and cardiovascular assessment Wound care NHS Health Checks Health promotion and lifestyle advice Immunisations and vaccinations Long-term condition management Dementia screening Cervical screening where trained Anticoagulation monitoring Patient education and self-management Accurate clinical documentation Effective clinical room and stock management
