The post holder will support Estates craft staff in
delivering planned preventative and reactive maintenance across hospital
buildings and services. The role involves carrying out semiskilled
maintenance tasks, assisting with inspections and testing, completing basic
repairs, and undertaking labouring and cleaning duties as required.
The SemiSkilled Maintenance Assistant will
assist and support Estates craft personnel in maintaining plant, equipment and
associated services across Darlington Memorial Hospital and other SCLmaintained
properties. Duties include supporting planned preventative maintenance and
breakdown repairs, assisting with inspections and testing, and undertaking work
of a semiskilled nature without direct supervision when
appropriate.
