Join our team as a Senior Maintenance Technician in Glendale, AZ!
Do you enjoy hands-on work and making a difference in the community you serve? We’re seeking a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ironwood Village, a 95-unit affordable housing community in Glendale, AZ. You’ll play an important role in maintaining the property, responding to repair needs, completing preventative maintenance, and helping create a well-maintained environment for residents.
What You'll Do
- Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
- Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
- Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies, ensure all apartments scheduled for move-ins are fully completed prior to move-in.
- Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
- Tackle seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, & pool to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of three years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Ability to be the primary on-call Maintenance Technician.
- Valid drivers license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
- Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
- HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
