As a Band 6 Sexual Health Nurse, you will deliver a comprehensive contraception and sexual health service as part of a Level 3 integrated service. Your role will include competencies in implants, IUDs, or sexual health advising. You will manage your own clinics ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care, provide STI testing, diagnosis, and treatment including HIV care support. You will deliver and manage contraceptive methods, including implants and IUDs with training and support patients in making informed choices and managing complex care pathways. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations and contribute to service development, clinical audits, and continuous improvement. Youll play a key role in delivering a service that is accessible, non-judgmental and inclusive for all, regardless of age, gender, or background.
