Salary: Negotiable
Working in
accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct, the post-holder will be responsible
for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the whole
practice population and the development of the nursing services provided at the
Practice. They will provide leadership and direction to the nursing team and
develop the clinical practice of the practice nurse team in the provision of
assessment, treatment, screening, health education services, and advice to
patients. They will lead and manage the nursing resources, working closely with
the management team and Directors to deliver the overall practice priorities
whilst providing a high standard of nursing care to patients.
Structured Chronic Disease reviews.
Childhood Immunisations
Cervical Smears
Contraception reviews
Other Injections and immunisations including Flu/Pneumococcal/shingles/COVID
Wound care
Leg ulcer dressings
Doppler studies/lower limb assessments
ECGs
Blood tests
Minor illness sessions desirable.
As a clinical member of the Management Team be responsible for the
safe and effective delivery and future development of the nursing and overall
clinical services.
