Kia Medford is hiring a Kia-certified technician to join a busy service department. If you fix it right the first time and want pay that reflects your skill, this is your shop.

About the Role
As a Kia Certified Technician, you'll diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles to manufacturer standards. This is a flat-rate position: your earnings come from accurate, efficient, quality work. We're looking for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in the job.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, and drivability concerns
Use scan tools, diagnostic software, and Kia technical service bulletins to find root causes
Complete warranty and recall work per Kia guidelines and documentation requirements
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and multi-point inspections
Document findings, work performed, and recommended repairs clearly on repair orders
Coordinate with service advisors on needed repairs, delays, and additional work
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality
Keep your work area clean and safe, and follow all shop safety procedures
Keep your tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements
Kia certification (current, or in progress with a clear plan to complete)
2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Own set of professional-grade tools
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a flat-rate environment
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Preferred
Kia or Hyundai dealership experience
ASE certifications (A1–A8 or Master Technician)
Hybrid and EV systems experience
