About the Role:
We’re seeking a compassionate, team-oriented
Dietary Assistant
to join our Dining Services Department. In this role, you'll support meal preparation and service, assist residents with their dietary needs, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and serving residents
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen, and dish room
Set and sanitize dining tables; deliver room trays as needed
Follow dietary guidelines and safety standards
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and ability to relate well to seniors
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Must follow all health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of food safety (ServeSafe certification a plus)
CPR/First Aid training preferred
