Avante Orthopaedics is seeking a motivated and versatile
Administrative Assistant to help support our expanding orthopedics specialty and urgent care practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in healthcare, medical practice operations, orthopedics', physical therapy, or a future clinical career. We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, adaptable, and excited to grow with a rapidly expanding practice.
Responsibilities
This is a versatile role that may include:
Front desk and patient reception
Appointment scheduling
Surgery scheduling and coordination
Patient communication and follow-up
Insurance verification and authorizations
EMR documentation support
Community outreach activities
Marketing and social media support
Procurement and supply management
Coordination with hospitals, surgery centers, and referring providers
Assistance with clinic operations and special projects

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience in a medical office, orthopedic practice, urgent care, physical therapy, or healthcare setting
Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Interest in learning basic X-ray operations and imaging workflow (training available)
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
