About the role
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused
Radiologic Technologist
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a
fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment
, providing high-quality imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform digital X-rays for orthopedic patients in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation protection, and image quality.
- Work closely with orthopedic providers and medical assistants to support efficient clinic flow.
- Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment; ensure compliance with all
- state, COMAR, and radiation safety
- standards.
- Enter images into PACS and electronic medical records accurately.
- Support orthopedic urgent care operations, including walk-in and scheduled patients.
- Assist in patient preparation, room setup, and clinical support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Current Maryland Radiologic Technologist License (required)
ARRT certification (R)
preferred.
Experience in
- orthopedics or urgent care
- strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and image quality standards.
- Professional, courteous, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Schedule
Full-time or part-time position available.
Daytime and some evening/weekend shifts (Saturday availability preferred).
