We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and
patient-centred Practice Nurse / General Practice Nurse to join our friendly
and supportive primary care team.
The postholder will provide a range of general practice
nursing services, including cervical screening, childhood immunisations, adult
immunisations, travel vaccinations, wound care and dressings, B12 injections,
other injections under appropriate PGDs or PSDs, health checks, phlebotomy
where appropriate, and support for long-term condition reviews within their
competency.
The postholder will provide high-quality core general practice nursing services and will be ready to work autonomously as part of the wider General Practice team. The role does not require independent prescribing, advanced nurse practitioner qualifications or routine minor illness management.
