JOB TITLE: Specialty Doctor, general adult psychiatry, Waltham Forest Mental Health & Wellness Team
The postholder will work within the Waltham Forest Mental Health & Wellness Team Central. Duties will include the clinical psychiatric assessment of patients referred to the service and patients already on the caseload; thorough evaluation of patients clinical needs; risk assessment; safeguarding; clinical documentation and correspondence; collaborative work with care coordinators and all members of the MDT; liaison with GPs and all relevant services concerned with patient care. Supervision will be provided by Dr Ragini Motwani. Additional guidance will also be available from other medical and clinical members of the team.
There are no on call responsibilities.
