Practice Development Sister/Charge NurseBand 6 Substantive role37.5 hrs/week
The successful candidate will work strategically across the Trust supporting learning and development initiatives that enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.An integral part of the role is providing multi-professional education in the classroom using a variety of teaching methods including innovative strategies such as simulation, and educational games. You would be supported by the team to develop the knowledge and skills to facilitate excellent education both in the classroom and at the bedside.
The post holder will: act as a role model / professional resource, acting within the Professional Code of Conduct at all times support the professional development of all nursing staff. support the development of clinical competence and evidence-based practice to ensure best possible patient outcomes and experience. assist in the delivery of education programmes and act as a clinical role model work under the management of a Senior Practice Development Sister/Charge Nurse.
