We are seeking a passionate and skilled Consultant Urologist to join
our innovative team at South Tyneside and Sunderland Hospital. This role
focuses on penile cancer and andrology services.
This post focuses on penile cancer and
andrology services. The successful candidate will
contribute to the assessment and management of patients with suspected and
confirmed penile cancer, working as part of the established multidisciplinary
pathway and contributing to specialist outpatient clinics, diagnostic services,
MDT working and surgical management. The post holder will also support and
further develop the departments andrology service, including the assessment
and management of erectile dysfunction, Peyronies disease and other
andrological conditions, with the precise scope of specialist surgical practice
reflecting the successful candidates training and experience.
The post
holder will join the existing team of consultants and will participate in the
on-call rota.
