Stern at Home Therapy is hiring a
PRN Physical Therapist (PT)
to provide individualized, one-on-one mobile outpatient therapy to patients throughout
West Palm Beach, FL, and surrounding communities
.
This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist looking to
supplement an existing schedule, maintain a small caseload, or add flexible patient visits
while maintaining control over when and where they work.
With a minimum commitment of just 5 patients , our PRN model provides flexibility while allowing therapists to build a geographically concentrated caseload.
What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist with Stern at Home Therapy, you'll evaluate and treat patients one-on-one in their residences through our mobile outpatient model.
Responsibilities include
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments.
- Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional independence.
- Provide gait training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and fall-prevention interventions.
- Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary care team members.
- Coordinate with Stern's administrative team regarding scheduling and patient care.
Compensation
PRN 1099 – Minimum 5 Patients
- $72 per follow-up visit
- $85 per evaluation
- Fixed per-visit compensation with no tiered volume model
PRN positions are
1099 independent contractor roles only

Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license in Florida required
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Reliable transportation required
- Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile outpatient setting
- Geriatric or mobile outpatient experience preferred but not required
