Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 8a Senior Category Manager to join our established team.
To lead the corporate services or property category by developing and implementing procurement strategies, whilst ensuring compliance with the Trusts internal policies and applicable legislation.
Provide professional commercial advice and support.
Lead the development of appropriate sourcing strategies
Conduct competition processes that result in contracts which deliver improved patient outcomes.
Provide commercial contract management support to contract owners, including managing supplier relationships
Drive efficiency and innovation
Be an effective leader to drive maturity of the function and development of staff
