Overview
LOS ANGELES, CA - HIDDEN HILLS (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) -
A warm, busy family in Hidden Hills is seeking an energetic and devoted FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to become a true extension of their family. Mom is hands-on, communicative, and looking for a genuine partner in care, someone who can read the room, take initiative, and show up every day with enthusiasm and heart.
The family has two boys, ages 5 and 3, who are active, fun, and ready for adventure. With school year approaching and both boys in school, the priority is keeping them on schedules, engaged, and active. Pool time is a regular part of life so swimming ability and water comfort are a must. The ideal candidate thrives on activity, loves being outdoors, and brings the kind of high energy that keeps up with two busy boys from morning to afternoon.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, long-term, with hours to be confirmed. In addition to primary childcare, the role includes keeping the boys' rooms organized, light laundry and tidying as needed, and occasional simple meal prep. Driving will be introduced over time as trust is established, with the goal of having the nanny transport the boys to parks and activities by the time both parties are comfortable.
Occasional overnights may arise, and international travel is on the table for the right candidate, so a valid passport is preferred. The pay is $35+/hr gross via payroll + industry standard PTO + paid sick days. Start date is ASAP!
Qualifications
Minimum Candidate Requirements
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field; alternatively, a completed associate degree specifically in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Five or more years of verifiable professional childcare experience
- Current infant and pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent professional and character references
- Ability to commit for at least one year unless applying for a temporary position
- Successful completion of all required background and driving-record checks
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record when driving is required
Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to accept legal W-2 employment through payroll
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, punctuality, and safe cellphone practices
- No smoking or vaping while working or around children
- Competent swimming ability when required by the position
- TrustLine registration or a current application in process for California placements
- Additional requirements may apply based on the family and position.
