Overview
BROOKLYN, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST -
An amazing professional family in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist for their twins, anticipated to arrive 12/4. The target start date is 12/5, and the role begins with a 3-month contract with the option to extend as needed. One NCS will care for both newborns, and the family is looking for someone with strong twin or multiples experience who is calm, confident, and comfortable taking the lead on feeding, soothing, and sleep routines.
Shifts range from 12 to 24 hours, with the schedule to be finalized with the family. The family is very involved and is looking for an NCS who communicates clearly, keeps detailed logs, and works well alongside the parents as they settle into life with two newborns. Candidates should be flexible, discreet, and comfortable working within a high-profile household. Once the NCS is no longer needed, the family will hire a separate long-term nanny, so this role is a defined newborn stage engagement.
An NDA is required. Up-to-date vaccines are preferred, including Tdap, MMR, Covid, and Flu.
Compensation is $55-65/hr gross, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
- UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
- THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
