Salary: £104401.00 to £115341.00
Applicants are invited for the the role of General Practitioner with Special Interest in Ophthalmology. The role will deliver an ophthalmology service at the UHL Community hospitals (UHLiC).
To provide care closer to home by delivering outpatient appointments in UHLiC - increasing workforce and capacity and freeing up UHL acute site capacity for appointments
Supporting secondary care clinics by providing a holistic view, knowledge of community services and community clinical pathways for patients.
Supporting the reduction in secondary care backlogs and reduced waiting times
The post holder must adhere to the standards outlined by the GMC for the Good Medical Practice.
Keep fully informed about best practice in the speciality areas and ensure implications for practice changes are discussed with the Clinical Director/ Service Lead.
