Wave Dental Specialists is looking for an experienced
Oral Surgery Dental Assistant
to join our specialty team and work alongside our exceptional Oral Surgeon!

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of oral surgery dental assisting experience required
DAANCE Certified OR IV Certified required
EFDA experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures and patient care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Dependable, organized, and patient-focused
Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients
Take and develop dental radiographs
Provide pre- and post-operative patient instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supplies
Help provide a positive, comfortable patient experience

Requirements
Education and Training
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
Valid X-ray certificate.
Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
CPR & first aid certificate.
FLSA Status:
Hourly, Non-Exempt

Operations Manager
