About the role
Description acac is seeking an energetic and experienced Café Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our café. This role is responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and developing a high-performing team while ensuring exceptional service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.

What You’ll Do
Provide strong, positive leadership and clear communication to café team members
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation, storage, safety, and cleanliness standards
Plan, market, and execute café menus and promotions
Create and maintain schedules and staffing plans to support business needs
Foster a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused team culture
Manage café operations within budget and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Support and develop team members to build a strong, consistent café foundation
Maintain an efficient, organized, and upbeat café environment
Role Breakdown
80% Hands-On Operations: Working on the café floor, supporting team members, preparing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional member service.
20% Administrative & Leadership Duties: Scheduling, hiring and training, inventory management, ordering, reporting, and planning menus and promotions.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
ServSafe certification required
Knowledge of daily café and food service operations
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Dependable, energetic, positive, and proactive approach
Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and high service standards
Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a shift
Willingness to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs

Park in team member designated areas
Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings
Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor
Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac’s Five*Star principles
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 hourly. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, the responsibilities of the position, and internal equity.
