ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Other responsibilities will include: Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times. Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care to residents. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care and ensuring continuity of services to residents. Tasked with assisting residents in their personal hygiene care, it is crucial to ensure their independence, dignity, and respect at all times. Recognizing clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, and the risk of falls, you will need to escalate any identified risks promptly. Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity, and working efficiently by following reasonable instructions are key responsibilities. The role also demands practicing safe systems of work across various tasks and being adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
