ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Responsibilities include assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times. You'll need to recognize clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections, and escalate any identified risks timely. Acting courteously towards residents and visitors and respecting their dignity is essential. Practicing safe systems of work across tasks is crucial. Avery Healthcare offers a thorough induction and training programme. Preferred candidates need to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, and be adaptable to cover various responsibilities as needed. A DBS Disclosure check is required for the role, with the cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
