As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your primary focus will be delivering high standards of personal care to residents, contributing fully to the care team for continuity of services. Responsibilities include assisting residents in personal hygiene care with a focus on independence, dignity, and respect, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and practicing safe systems of work. We require individuals who can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrate initiative, and show respect towards residents and colleagues. Our team takes pride in offering thorough induction and training, so prior experience is not required. However, adaptability, efficiency, and flexibility are vital. The role involves night shifts, ensuring residents receive continual support. A DBS Disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK are mandatory for the position.
