As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your primary responsibilities involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry within the home. You will adhere to defined housekeeping and laundry procedures, ensuring that the environment remains well-kept and in accordance with hotel service standards. Part of your role will include understanding various cleaning techniques suitable for different surfaces and materials, ensuring everything is presented well and in good condition. Additionally, respect and dignity for all residents will be paramount, ensuring their personal spaces and belongings are always respected. We are looking for a candidate who lives by our values of caring, support, honesty, respectfulness, and accountability. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of health and safety procedures, particularly in Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments, and will have experience cleaning laundry in a public setting to provide high-quality service effectively.
