As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of Aldridge Care Home. Your role involves working collaboratively to uphold high standards of cleanliness and laundry, following standard operating procedures to meet hotel service standards. Responsibilities include understanding different cleaning requirements, respecting residents' personal space and belongings, and treating everyone with dignity. The role requires living the values of caring, support, respect, and accountability. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting, and the ability to adapt and cover responsibilities at short notice are desirable attributes. A DBS check is required, funded by Avery Healthcare, as well as proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
