Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include: Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
The job of a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a caring and inclusive environment. You will focus on supporting residents with their wellbeing, ensuring that care plans are updated, assisting with medication requirements, and acting as a contact point for residents and visitors. You will need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care and at least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment. Effective communication skills and a positive attitude towards nurturing residents and staff are also essential. Flexibility and responsiveness in covering a range of responsibilities are required.
