This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist and two Associate Specialists, within a 36-bed inpatient service. Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team including Nursing, OT, Psychology, and Social Work, supporting patients with the help of an Associate Specialist doctor. While primarily responsible for delivering a quality clinical service, you will also be expected to be actively involved in the strategic development of the team and broader services, being involved with the ward manager and senior management team in helping to steer the development of the service in line with the strategic direction of the hospital and Elysium. Elysium Healthcare is currently looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team at Pinhoe View in Exeter. This is a temporary role with a competitive annual salary. The main responsibility will be to deliver quality clinical services, but there will also be opportunities to contribute to the strategic development of services. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work with another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist and two Associate Specialists, providing care to patients within a 36-bed inpatient service. Applicants should have MRCPsych or equivalent and ideally a CCT/CESR in General Adult, although other specialities may be considered. A Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status in England are essential. Extensive experience in acute inpatient settings is also essential.
