This unique and highly influential role offers the opportunity to work across a range of services, providing senior operational leadership to hospitals requiring additional support, recovery, stabilisation or transformation. As a group-wide leadership resource, you will be deployed to services experiencing quality, safety, leadership or regulatory challenges, as well as supporting established Hospital Directors and senior leadership teams to strengthen operational performance and deliver sustainable improvement. When acting as Hospital Director, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day operation of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care.
The Peripatetic Hospital Director at Elysium Healthcare is responsible for supporting and leading services during periods of change and transformation. The role involves providing senior operational leadership to hospitals requiring additional support, recovery, stabilisation, or transformation. The director will ensure the delivery of safe and effective care, overseeing strategic planning, operational performance, financial management, and regulatory compliance. The role requires engagement with clinical and operational teams, maintaining governance and assurance frameworks, and promoting a culture of accountability and improvement. This role will require travel across the South and may include overnight stays.
