This role is an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to work 22.5 hours per week at Badby Park, where therapists manage a diverse and complex caseload surrounding communication, tracheostomy, and dysphagia needs. The role is suited for both newcomers and experienced therapists seeking personal and professional development. You will work autonomously, supported appropriately based on experience, closely collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Daily responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing issues while providing compassionate support to patients and their families. Additional duties involve tracheostomy care and creating safe swallowing programs, assuring effective nutrition and care in collaboration with various healthcare teams. Over time, involvement in training, service development, and supervision of Assistants will also form part of the role as required.
