Salary: £47951.00 to £56863.00
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust currently uses the Cerner Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) system, shared across the North West London Acute Provider Group, including Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, and The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
To assist with the implementation, maintenance, development of electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
To support back-end technical processes such as configuration, development and testing of the Trust's current or future ePMA systems.
To train and support all staff involved with the ePMA process. This includes pharmacy staff, prescribers, nurses and floorwalkers.
To convey and promote benefits of ePMA and ensure any implementation is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
To be a champion user of the ePMA system, applying extensive knowledge and understanding of how the system works and the workflow that staff need to follow to ensure safety
The post holder will exercise professional accountability and responsibility using professional skills, knowledge and expertise in changing inpatient environments, across professional boundaries and in unfamiliar situations.
To provide ePMA support services according to rota if necessary (including early, late, weekend working)
To support ePMA team and dispensary as an Accredited Checking Technician (ACPT)
