The Data Security & IG Officer is responsible for supporting the organisation to ensure that patient and organisational data is handled securely and lawfully, in line with NHS England requirements and statutory frameworks.
The role supports the effective delivery of services and programmes within the Integrated Care Board (ICB). Working under the management of the IG Senior Manager, the postholder is responsible foridentifyinghow their activities, tasks and responsibilities are delivered to time, quality, and performance standards.
