(Smears and childhood immunisations experience is needed) Main Responsibilities: Key duties will include: To work closely with the regional nursing, operational and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks. You will be acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process.
This Lead Nurse position at Mitchison Road Surgery is a permanent role offered by Operose Health with a salary between £48,000 and £49,500 depending on experience. The role requires 37.5 working hours per week and applicants must have practice nurse experience including smears and childhood immunisations. An annual salary reaching up to £49,500, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and other benefits are offered to successful applicants.
