Are you looking a Practice Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? Cassidy Medical Centre are looking for an Lead Nurse for 37.5 hours per week. Main Responsibilities: Key duties will include: To work closely with the regional nursing, operational and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks. You will be acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met. In addition to the responsibilities above the post holder will support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as required to ensure a high level of quality and standards at all times.

The Lead Nurse will work in collaboration with the practice team to support patient needs and nurse leadership. Responsibilities include supporting the Regional Lead Nurse, ensuring quality standards, and implementing clinical strategies. Applicants must be UK registered nurses or AHCPs with at least two years of experience, non-medical prescribers, and have extensive primary care experience.
