Compensation: $13 per hour

3-day Flex WFH Shifts
Must be willing and able to work the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift Rotation Schedule (includes weekends and holidays)
A friendly and reliable Telephone Operator is needed to work a rotating switchboard schedule at the Palmerton Telephone Company.
Primary responsibilities include
Answering phones and properly routing calls
Monitoring Alarms and Medical Alerts
Providing answering Services for Doctors’ offices and others
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
Established residency in Pennsylvania
Computer Proficiency
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs preferred – Outlook, Word and Excel
Familiarity with the local area helpful
Excellent Communications Skills - Pleasant Speaking Voice
Neat penmanship
Dependability / Reliability
Ability to multitask

- Ability to handle phone calls in a calm and professional manner in all circumstances
- Ability to work a very flexible schedule in order to accommodate Swing Shift (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift schedule rotation) to include weekends and holidays as required
