Responsibilities include preparing modified diets, supervising staff, ensuring safe food handling, and understanding food safety systems. Avery seeks candidates who embody values like caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability. Qualifications required are catering certifications like City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent, and at least a year of experience. Flexibility and compassion are key attributes for the role. A DBS check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK are required, with the cost covered by Avery.
