Burlington Primary Care is seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate lead practice nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking practice team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while providing clinical leadership and support to our nursing team. Experience in primary care nursing and long term condition care is essential.
Providing clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing team.
Delivering high-quality patient care within your scope of practice.
Leading on long term condition management across the nursing and HCA team.
Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, induction, training, and appraisal of nursing staff.
Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, national guidance, and practice policies.
Developing and implementing nursing protocols, procedures, and patient care pathways.
Working collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals, PCN colleagues, and external agencies to improve patient services
