The Vale Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy technician to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. This role is offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week, and will be based at both our Wootton and Shortstown sites.
Reporting to the senior clinical pharmacist and senior clinical pharmacy technician, you will play a key role in supporting medicines optimisation, medication safety, repeat prescribing systems and patient care within the practice multidisciplinary team.
Medicines reconciliation
Management of repeat prescribing systems
Medicines safety monitoring
Responding to medication-related queries
Audit and quality improvement work
Supporting national and local prescribing initiatives
