Position Summary
Talking Stick Golf Club is looking for dependable and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and executing quality meals in a timely and consistent manner. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering a great dining experience.
Whether you're working on the grill, sauté, fry, or prep station, you'll contribute to a teamoriented kitchen known for consistency, cleanliness, and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and restocking as needed
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during busy service periods
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with daily kitchen cleaning tasks, deep cleaning, and closing procedures
- Support kitchen team with banquet and event prep as needed
- Report low stock levels or equipment issues to supervisors

Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions, multi-task, and stay organized in a high-volume kitchen
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 40+ lbs
- Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card required (or ability to obtain)
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
